Computational electromagnetics (CEM) is the science of designing and implementing fast and accurate Maxwell's equations solvers. The field of computational electromagnetics complements many branches of applied electromagnetics that often rely on experimentation. ‌Time Domain Integral Equation (TDIE)-Based Solvers The popularity of marching-on-in-time based TDIE (MOT-TDIE) solvers has increased following the development of acceleration engines such as plane wave time domain and time domain adaptive integral methods (TDAIM), as well as techniques for stabilizing TDIE solutions.
